Professor Griswald, een gnome die jullie in de mijn gered hebben, heeft de boeken die jullie teruggebracht hebben zitten bestuderen. Zijn bevindingen zijn indrukwekkend. De boeken zijn minstens 700 jaar oud! Jammer genoeg is er buiten wat alchemy niet veel wetenschappelijke kennis te vergaren, daarom zou hij graag hebben dat er gezocht wordt naar de oorsprong van onze ongekende alchemist. Het dagboek vermeldt dat hij afkomstig is van The Towering City - Azgoth Kal', ver naar het westen.

De locatie van deze stad is ongekend, maar de professor staat er op om het te vinden. Zijn plan is om vanuit de miningcamp te starten en de route beschreven in het dagboek omgekeerd te volgen. First stop: een enorme meer ten zuidwesten van de mijn.

[Bart - Multisession - Lvl3] Finding Lake Omidos Empty Finding Lake Omnidas - Part 1: The Tomb of 'show me what you got'!

After the guild deciphered the book of an 700 year alchemist, it assembles a team to look for the previous location of the alchemist. The trail starts from the former mine, now known as Delvin's Solution NV

The party:
Carla (Lennert's Warlock)
Sy'Tel (Maxim's Wizard)
Dan Peli (PJ's Pelidan)
Balron the 'Brute' (Dries' skin-morphing fighter-mystic)

The party first travels to Delvin's Solution NV. Further work has been achieved by the community. Now there are 10 wooden houses constructed in total.

After leaving the town of Delvin's Solution NV, we go to the south-west. After we follow a river for two days we go south. The landscape changes from a dense forest to a more and more open savanna. While traveling south we are looking for the boobies mountains. (They are especially noticeable by the formation of the round cleavage and detailed nipples on top. Over 2 pages in the alchemist journal were dedicated to these mountains.)

While traveling through the plains of the savanna a wild dust cloud approaches quite rapidly. When the dust cloud comes within range we notice it is a Bulletes (aka desert shark). The vicious creature leaped at us dealing some serious damage. But after a few rounds of intense combat (no not you Balron). We managed to slay the creature.

Because the boobies mountains are within range we walk to the boobies and have a long rest there. After some group members motorboated the mountain we traveled further west. After four days of traveling we stumbled upon a tomb.

[Bart - Multiquest] Finding Lake Omidos: Report for Dragar, by Sy'Tell'Quessir


Tl;Dr: We traveled a lot, gotten to an ancient burial hill, which we raided for treasure.

The party

- Sy'Tell'Quessir. Specialty: Divination magic.
- Dan Pally: Specialty: Protecting people with his shield.
- Barben the Brute: Hitting stuff (so he says)
- Carla: Blasting stuff.

The assignment

The alchemist's books from a long lost era have been decoded. The hut and mine the guild previously discovered are more than 700 years old.
Our first step is to find Lake Omidos and report back to the guild.

FLO: Report I

Dear Dragar,

We went to the mine we started building up to follow the ancient road map from there. Everything seemed to go perfect at the mine, a few more buildings have been erected.

The first landmark, a river going west, we reached after three days of travel. The book said to follow this going west.

Two more day later, we reached the source. From here, we headed south. It started to become more hot and dry. In the desert on our way to the distinct hill, we were attacked by a bulette, a land shark. It packed quite the punch, but we were able to put it down. A shame really, since it was such a cute little animal that would have made a fine companion, or maybe even a steed for a small gnome like me.

After the attack we set up camp on the distinct hill and rested for the day. Than we went straight west from the hill to find the next landmark, a burial hill from an ancient civilisation.

The hill had an inscription from a Shaman, who challenged us to get through his dungeon, so this was something we had to check out.

The dungeon was filled with a variety of puzzle and challenging combat rooms, the comprehend languages spell you advised me to take on this trip came in quite handy in most of them. I even had Dan copy some ancient runes on a scroll for me to translate when he got trapped in a chamber behind a stone door.

As I am writing this, we are resting outside the dungeon, a few magic items richer and ready to get back on the road.

Wanneer zouden jullie deze quest willen afmaken? Normaal duurt het nog 1 volle sessie, eventueel 2 als het wat uitloopt. Ik kan de meeste weekdagen me wel vrijmaken de komende 4 weken, zolang ik het vroeg genoeg weet.

FLO: Report II

Dear Dragar,

After we slept outside, two more guild members appeared out of a tree for some weird reason. They seemed to not remember anything, but they joined on our quest.
We delved deeper into the weird thomb, puzzeling our way through a few more rooms. In the final chamber we discovered an old skeleton, who transformed to a living human being upon our entry. He told us he was Wizak and we have completed his challenge, upon which he gave us a ridiculously low amount of gold from his treasury. Note: if we ever run out of money, we can find a lot of it over there!

We than went on our way to find lake omidos, and passed another tower on our way there. This one was inhabited by another ridiculously old human, named Radun.
We had tea and a good chat, and he told us that lake omidos was just half a day away from there. He also told us some of the history about the lake and the sunken city of Omidos, which he was there for.
There were some treasure hunters on the beach of the lake, which we annoyed for a bit.

Whilst I am writing this we are on our way back, accompanied by Radun. He is going to help us set up a teleportation circle!

Jullie reizen terug naar Stonehill samen met Rádun. Jullie komen onderweg jammer genoeg geen bulettes meer tegen, maar leren wel nog wat bij over Rádun. Vooral dat hij nogal een vreemd persoon is, maar zeker ook heel nieuwsgierig. Hij is vriendelijk op zijn eigen, beetje opdringerige manier. In stonehill zien jullie dat Barben zijn tocht terug ook veilig heeft beëindigd.

Rádun verblijft een paar dagen in Stonehill waarin hij, jullie vermoeden, vrijwel elke inwoner van het dorp heeft gesproken. Op de 4e dag nemen jullie Rádun mee naar een leegstaande kamer in het kasteel en daar maakt hij de permanente link naar zijn teleportation circle. Hij legt uit dat dit geen teleportation circle van zichzelf is, maar eerder een deur tussen hier en zijn toren. Jullie zouden dus niet naar hier kunnen teleporten vanuit een andere locatie, enkel van bij hem. Hij zou bereid zijn om elke dag hier een nieuwe circle te casten zodat jullie een eigen circle hebben, maar dat zou hij enkel doen voor een vergoeding van 200 gp/dag.

Link to Rádun's tower

A link to the teleportation circle in Rádun's tower. Requires 1 spellslot equal to 1/3rd of a characters level (rounded up) to use. 1 spellslot can be used for multiple people. NPC characters require a lvl 1 spellslot, unless specified otherwise (DM's discretion).

Example: 2 lvl 7, 1 lvl 6 and 1 lvl 3 character want to use the link. That would require 2 lvl 3, 1 lvl 2 and 1 lvl 1 spellslot, or 1 lvl 9 spellslot, or 1 lvl 7 and 1 lvl 2 spellslot etc
